Program participants gained a deeper understanding of local arts education and the cultural arts field. They visited Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London and Goldsmiths, University of London, and participated in a study tour to learn about the educational programs and characteristics of each university. The students conducted field work at cultural arts sites in London based on their own areas of interest, including art, music, publishing, and theater. They also participated in a workshop on REBEL, the qualitative assessment system implemented by the University of the Arts London, and learned about the outcomes of student assessment based on cognition and collaboration. After returning home, students wrote reports based on their learning and research in London.
